My intention was to write that TO ME it seems as though Democrats in general give more sympathy and understanding to the terrorists than they give to our own citizens - and our soldiers. Everything negative about Bush, the war or America is exaggerated and repeated and reported endlessly while REAL terrorist acts and threats are virtually ignored. And the positive things going on in Iraq and elsewhere are virtually ignored. Bad news makes the news. Good news doesn’t.

I repeat - I have NEVER doubted your love of our country or your loyalty to it. I DO disagree with you completely in how you’re expressing it. And while I don’t doubt your love of our country and loyalty to it, I definitely DO doubt that of many of the Democratic leaders and MSM.

And “disagree with Bush” is a very understated phrase for how most Democrats treat him and anything he says and does.

I stand by everything I wrote - except I didn’t make the statement about “terrorist sympathizers” very clear. I will go back and edit it when I get a chance later this evening.

I believe from the bottom of heart that the negative comments and actions of Democratic leaders and the MSM have made this war longer and has caused many more deaths than would have happened otherwise. Those behaviors and words have given “comfort and aid” to the terrorists. There is a time for dissent during war, and that time is at the ballot box. I have always believed that the duty of a citizen is to support leaders fully - especially abroad. When I disagree with those leaders, I no longer vote for them.

I welcome any comments that are written with respect and good taste.

Your comments about the lies that roll trippingly off the tongues of Democrats—from those in positions of leadership such as Feingold to the denizens of “demoncrappic underpants” —are in no way as exteme as Bennish disingenuously leading kids to the “Bush is Hitler” meme, among one of his milder offenses. And, of course, your response is on target: his use of a classroom for a brainwashing platform in his ideology would not stand in any district with serious professional standards, let alone moderate ethical guidelines.

And what exactly is wrong about you calling a spade a spade in your own forum—your blog—anyway? Facts are stubborn things dspite MMP lies. The facts support an allegation that Feingold and his ilk have continually sought to weaken the security of this country and hamper the fight against Islamic terrorists. How exactly is that behavior by such persons NOT unpatriotic, dangerous and (in the case of congresscritters) a violation of their oath of office?

What so-called “progressives” (who act for all the world exactly as if they were reading from “The Reactionary’s Playbook”) cannot stand is the truth.
