Being the original no-TV mama, it is hard to comment on this post! I HAVE seen a few minutes of Desperate Housewives and of Saturday Night Live a couple of times; but aside from that, you might as well be speaking Mandarin!!

Love American Idol and I agree about SNL. The early years of SNL were very funny. I have seen a few episodes of Top Model and one episode of Deal or No Deal. Top Model is pretty entertaining buy I though Deal or No Deal was awful. But that is just my opinion.
My list is up.

“Deal or No Deal” is escapist idiocy…which is probably why I like it. The people on there are nuts, and the host is funny. No redeeming value except as entertainment. I basically like TV shows that don’t have “messages.” I just want something that’s keeps me amused. America’s Next Top Model is simply funny — Tyra what’s-her-name has an enormous sense of self-importance, and the girls on there practically worship her. It’s entertaining to me. Thanks for commenting, Jane!

The only tv shows I get to watch any more are mainly cartoons. I’ve heard of all of these, but unfortunately, my children and husband have taken over the set so it’s either Blue’s Clues or Nascar for me. My TT is up.

These must be current. I haven’t seen a single one. I’ve been enjoying Upstairs Downstairs and Monk (on DVD) this week-end. Now those were shows.
