I’d agree with that, Carol. Of course any cluster of ideas that must be taken whole and not evaluated piecemeal is going to entail censorship. From the far right to the far left censorship of dissenting ideas goes on all the time.

“Political Correctness” is certaily censorship by intimidation. Many college (and ever high school) students have sat quietly listening to radical left wing statements by instructors, knowing that they would immediately be labeled “bigot” and “ignorant” with a possibly resulting lower grade. I went back to college and seminary (Liberal main line Seminary ). I took informal polls among fellow students…so have reason for the statement above…
We are seeing the crazines of sex explotation by teachers today (Small in numbers but highly publicized and a serious trend ). It occurs to me that professors who intimidate students against serious debate on controversal issues should be denied tenure… We need to hear botyh sides of these issues but some only want to call names. For example, in classes as well as the chapel services, speakers had not retisxcence in speakinh out and calling names of any right wing person in teh news…but were practicing ” loving diversity ” in supporting the most radical left winger….
