I’ve moved several times the past few years, and each time I’ve streamlined my “stuff” more.  This morning, I started straightening up/clearing out my storage room, and I’m amazed at how much JUNK and CLUTTER a single person can collect in a short amount of time.

I read somewhere that “stuff” can bog you down - keep you tied to your house, and it’s true.  Just the thought of having to go through everything to move again is overwhelming.  However, it also made me mad!  This is hereby my DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE from junk!

I have finished straightening my storage room.  It looks good - but the stuff is still there - just boxed neatly now.

I WILL gain my freedom from stuff, though.  I WILL have the “for sale” sign in front of my townhouse by Friday.  I WILL get all the STUFF sorted and cleared out.  I WILL be free of it.

Hate to be the bearer of the bad news, but you’ll never be free of junk. It will control you. It will rule you. It will be your master. This is where you insert the evil maniacal laughing. Heh.

Great blog you have hear. Meant to tell you that a long, long time ago. I often find myself voting for your blog of the many others that enter battles.

Love the name, and the style you write in.

    I’ll keep popping by.

You go, girl! That’s my goal this summer! I’m so tired of clutter. It’s taken over my house! I’m determined to work on it slowly, but surely this summer and have my house in better working order by the time school starts in August. It sounds like you really attacked it today!
