“One of the greatest labor-saving inventions of today is tomorrow.”  ~Vincent T. Foss~

Boy, ain’t THAT the truth!  Procrastination is my middle name.  However, I’ve found that there is NOTHING more motivating than getting a phone call that someone wants to looks at my house (which is for sale) to get me motivated to finish up several little piddly jobs that needed to be done.  Within 25 minutes of receiving that phone call, I moved about 7 boxes from the bonus room to the storage room, vacuumed the bonus room, cleaned off and swept the screened-in backporch, lit a zillion candles and turned on every light in the house.  I started to bake some gingerbread cookies, but I figured that might be overdoing the “make it smell homey” thing - the candles already provided a nice scent throughout.

So first house-showing is now done.  We’ll see if St. Joseph is working for me.
