I wrote the other day about the tragedy of losing a child and how different people handle that loss.  John Walsh became an advocate for missing and abused children.  Cindy Sheehan became a pitiful, glory-seeking psycho.  I read a post in Chez Diva (via BlackFive) about a mom whose daughter was severely injured in Iraq.  It’s an inspiring story.

What I think is worse ….having your child killed while playing in their own yard in a safe community in America…. that is more tragic… when you try to keep them out of harm’s way…and somehow the parents pick themselves up and fight to keep guns out of young peoples hands…
Today it still is a struggle with the lobbyist and gun lover population.
No matter what, where and why losing a child is one the most horrible experiences a parent can endure.

    Still Lessons to Teach…

the example displayed by Mr Netanyahu of selfless, loyalty in time-of-war, deserves deep and full contemplation….
