The news has been depressing lately.  I was driving home after having lunch with RT, my daughter, my son and my daughter-in-law awhile ago, and I was listening to the news.  It was just too much.  I changed the channel to an easy listening station.  Today even Barry Manilow singing “I Can’t Smile Without You” was welcome.

Beth at My Vast Right Wing Conspiracy has a post that expresses how I feel.  Sometimes I think we need a break from the conflicts in the world around us.  Sing to me, Barry.
