As I was unpacking our suitcases Wednesday evening, I found a “Notice of Baggage Inspection” in two of our three bags. Yea, we middle-aged white folks traveling home from Alaska are likely terrorists. Glad the Transportation Security Administration protected all the passengers for such possible harm.

On December 1, 2008, my 7-year old granddaughter, Lily, was diagnosed with acute lymphocytic leukemia (ALL). For at least awhile, most of my posts will be on that topic because it overshadows every other aspect of my life right now. Just bear with me.

Every time we have flown recently, at least one of our bags has this notice included when we reach our destination. i guess we look like terrorists too!
