Thirteen of my Favorite Bible Verses

(1) “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10

(2) “If you need wisdom — if you want to know what God wants you to do — ask Him, and He will surely tell you. He will not resent your asking.” — James 1:5

(5) “Love Suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.” — 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

(6) “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against such there is no law. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another.” — Galatians 5:22-26

(7) “Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth. Where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. For where your treasure is there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:19-21

Wow!! First of all this list must have taken a while to put up. Nice job. Well, I love all those scriptures but I would say Jeremiah is still my fave because it always makes me feel that He hasn’t forgotten me. However, “Be Still and know that I am God.” Well . . . what else does one need. Thanks for the devotional 13 here.
