I am very thankful Ford was not voted in. He makes my skin crawl…don’t really know why, I’ve never met the guy. It just seems so insincere hearing the “my Jesus” and “the Lord is in control” stuff coming from him. I really despised one of his ads that had him in a church sharing that he started church the old fashioned way, he “was forced to”. It just seems that if he were truly a man of faith, he wouldn’t have to pound us over the head with it, but it would be obvious.

I’m glad the election is over.

Now we must continue to pray for our leaders.

There are no qualifications here - no gratuitous genuflections to the normal pieties concerning “ignorant warriors mislead into fighting - courageously - for an evil cause, etc.” Mitigations usually acknowledged in regards to the average German draft…

Yes, I can hear it now. The election was ’stolen’. They’ll demand recounts - of just the districts they think they can win. They’ll never accept the representatives elected by the people. They’ll call them illegitimate. Etc, etc, etc.

They’ll continue to divide the country by refusing to abide by the democratic process by refusing to accept the will of the people.
