Questions from a political dilettante
Does this mean Bush is still Hitler? I’m pretty sure Hitler never let his opponents win an election, did he? Unless… this is all part of Rove’s plan. A major concern of the last few elections has been that Republicans need to cheat to win, and the problem was going to be even worse with the new Diebold machines. What happened? Did Cheney forget his password again? That darn Cheney, always forgetting his password. What happened to Ned? I thought Lieberman was Public Enemy #1. Now Kos must feel like the kid on Christmas morning who’s surrounded by toys… except for the one he really wanted. Does Nancy Pelosi ever wear a fake flower on her lapel that shoots acid? Because that would really be a surprise for Batman when he’s hauling her to Commissioner Gordon’s office. So the world likes us again, right? No more terrorism? YAY!!!

Haven’t chatted for awhile. Ahhh, yes just like The Median Sibling, Sanity’s Bluff has a lot of comment action.
The next two years?
It will be interesting, hopefully we will survive. Just wanted to say hi. I like your blog, I must remember to visit more often.
The good thing Carol is that we will only have to live under the Nancy Reign for two years before the eight years of the Hillary Reign.
AH HA Old age has it’s benifits…..I will only have to spend 850 days under the thumb of Ms Marx. Then I can retire and spend my time blogging the truth about her. That is if we can still blog.
Hate Crime Legislation, Fairness Doctrine and Universal Medical Insurance……….the big three that are creeping up on us….by way of the big creeps that have stolen this election.
It is nice for Senator Allen to be nonconfrontational, and not want to be seen as a sore loser….yeah….Maybe that is best. If George Allen would not fight for a Senate Seat that was most certainly his, if the votes were counted correctly…..He probably wouldn’t fight for America if He became president.
Sorry, that’s the way I see it.
He chickened out, didn’t fight, and now America will suffer, because He would not challenge the vote in Virginia. Great, be nice and see the country ruined, no more good judges in the courts, and having to see a Marxist two heartbeats away from the presidency.
Why didn’t George Allen fight?
This was a stolen election, but no one is fighting for the truth. Makes me so angry….take the election of 2000 and comprare it, Gore knew he lost…..but what happened………..?
If the Republicans won’t fight for a Senate seat, I am third party from now on.
I wouldn’t vote for those that hate America,
likewise
I won’t vote again for those that won’t fight for a seat of government, in the country I love.
Anyway Carol, keep the eyes open, and my suggestion,

Hi WebLoafer - thanks for stopping by. I’ve been so busy the past few months that I’ve neglected many of my old blog friends. It’s good to hear from you again! The reaction of the left to the election is puzzling. Rather than enjoying their victories, they seem angry that we’re not angry. I guess they expect the same tantrums as they threw in 2000 and 2004. I did what I could - and that’s all I could do. We’ll just have to see how the next few years turn out. I’m hopeful that two years of Democratic leadership in the House and Senate will bring middle America back to its senses. The USA won’t last long if it elects a Democratic president in 2008.
And PrivatePigg - I looked at “Warped” again. His post was written almost a month ago - and so far I haven’t received a single hit from it. I’m still laughing that someone with obviously only a few (if any) readers, along with such a tacky blog design would have the gall to criticize other blogs and blog designs. His posts are liberally peppered with profanity and invective. Many bloggers such as “warped” can only feel good about themselves when they curse and malign others. He doesn’t even realize the hypocrisy of what he writes.
By the way, I’m proud of my many blog rolls because they are partial evidence of the large number of online communities I’m a part of and the number of positive relationships I have.

Perhaps the reason you have not received a single hit from it is the fact that the people that read his blog have enough good sense to know not to waste their time having brain cells sucked out of their heads by wasting time reading your “thoughts†that could be better spent cleaning the lint from their belly buttons.
The expression of your disbelief at the gall of someone else exercising their right to free speech seems to be pretty well kept in check seeing as it took a full 15 seconds for your page to load and after that 15 seconds my browser gave up and loaded what it could and advised me as much by showing me that lovely yellow sign with the ‘errors on page’ message. Instead of holding your arrogant head high and deflecting criticism by insulting someone else, why not try cleaning up your own back yard and fixing your own page so that when your tongue gets away from you again and says things like ‘tacky’, you can at least back it up by having a flawlessly constructed close minded pulpit from which to spew your misdirection, misinformation, hatred infused doctrine to your huddled masses longing to breath government controlled air. Of course, paying attention to what’s going on in your OWN life instead of trying to dictate what everyone else does would make you less of a Republican. I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.
And I could whore myself out to online communities and have 1,274 blog rolls too but perhaps quality is a bit better than quantity when it comes to “friendsâ€.

I know it won’t see the light of day here…much as anybody disagreeing with you in your righteous indignation gets pushed to the bottom.

Ahh Kathy - you just reinforce what I wrote. Your life must be sad to be filled with such hatred for someone you don’t even know. Talk about projection and making generalizations!
I allow comments that don’t resort to profanity and name-calling. Despite your propensity for name-calling, you are such a PERFECT example of projection, that I felt I had to allow your comments. They’ll amuse my readers.Â

Where’s the name calling? I didn’t see her call you names…maybe the “arrogant head” thing? She also wants to know if you are going to edit your comment again or if you’ll keep it as is this time.
By the way, I resent being called a “liberal”. Talk about generalizations…
Seriously, do any of you even know what a liberal is? Let me take a stab at it…anyone who votes Democrat is a liberal.

niteowl and kathy seem to only speak for each other, which leaves one to wonder if they can speak for themselves.
Carol - that accusation of editing your comments is an old trick - as I’m sure you know. They hope someone coming along behind them will think you are doing something nefarious.
Both of their comments sound like a lot of sour grapes.

I am more than willing and plenty able to speak for myself kthx. As for my pointing out that she edited her comment, it wasn’t a trick. When she first posted her comment, she stopped at “…Talk about projection”. She obviously thought of more she wanted to add and changed her original posting. That was where the ‘edit’ that I spoke of came into play.
Btw…what do sour grapes sound like? Are they slightly off key? Because if so, I think I have a tuning fork around here somewhere and I can work on my pitch for you if you’d like.
