Well, to be perfectly honest, this doesn’t really fit my situation. I’m fairly certain none of my grandparents would have voted Democrat in this election. They were very down-to-earth, common sense people. I like the cartoon, though.
On a more serious and chilling note, click here. Having the Democrats with a majority in the Senate and House saddens me - and frightens me. I grieve for the world my children and grandchildren are inheriting from us. The elections and probable withdrawal of our troops from Iraq verifies that America is no longer willing to stick to its word and that we don’t have the perseverance to see a difficult task through. The terrorist threat is growing, and they have the perseverance to do whatever it takes. However, when the going gets tough, America bails out.

Great cartoon. But honestly, our grandparents may have voted Democratic. The democratic party of today is not the democratic party of yesterday. I know my daddy voted democrat many times. But, if he were alive today, he definately would NOT!

Jane, you are exactly right. “I” have voted Democratic in the past. I’ve have always voted for the person and not the party - until this year.
