1. Why does my skin break out in rashes this time of year - and the only thing that soothes it is smearing body lotion all over me? Can a skin rash be caused by cold weather?
2. Why can’t all the countries in the world just get along?
3. Will I find two Fisher-Price Kid Tough Digital Cameras for a reasonable price for my grandgirls?
4. Will I make it to work on time for tomorrow’s 7:20 a.m. faculty meeting?
5. Will the dog sleep through the night?
6. What should I wear to my niece’s wedding on Saturday?
7. Is there any way I can do the gazillion things I need to do tomorrow after work?
8. What is the strange smell that’s in the house tonight? Is it just the ashes in the fireplace or is there something burning somewhere?
9. Why is that when I needed to buy a furnace filter this evening, neither Kroger nor Target had the size I need?Â
10. Why do neither Kroger nor Target carry the specific dog food that RT wants for Jake?Â
11. What do I need to do to make my nails stronger? They’re so thin and pitiful!
12. Why does my hair look really good one day and absolutely awful the next?

1. Well cosmic forces are working against you.
2. You can’t please all of the people all of the time, unfortunately.

8. The last time I was investigating a strange odor it turned out to be a dead rabbit on my surge protector. Darn Cat!

11. Take vitamins, take pre-natal vitamins, buy some of the gelatin pills that are used to make jello… but you can buy them as just gelatin… supposedly that helps. There are some great nail strengtheners too.

Cold can cause mone rashes, dry skin, etc…BADLY. Sally Hanson (?) has good stuff for nails (any drugstore, grocery, Wal-Mart, Target)…and I can NEVER find filters for my furnace - it always takes a couple stores, couple trips.

Rashenbo and Eric - thanks for your responses to each question I listed. They WERE such important questions, weren’t they? Apparently it is the consensus that I must break down and wear clothes to that wedding. Sigh!

we bought the fisher price cameras on amazon. are they sold out?

Carol’s note: I tried Amazon - they have them, but only from secondary sellers who are charging 3X the retail price. These people are probably why the cameras aren’t available in stores. As soon as a store gets a shipment, they buy them all and then re-sell them online for astronomical prices - which some people will pay. I won’t.

But I have a question….is the niece that is getting married on your mom or dad’s side of your family??? Just curious.

1. probably dry skin made worse by dry/cold weather
2. because people live in them
3. have you tried ebay?
4. ICK… I think you should skip that meeting… too early!

6. that’s tough… if evening go for a jacket dress
7. no. so just give up and go get a pedicure

9. Always go to Lowes or Home Depot for furnace filters first!

I always get heat rashes in the Winter. I assume it’s because I have to wear so many clothes to keep warm outside and all of the buildings you go into are overheated.
Then again, it could just be dry skin.
If you solve the nail problem let me know. My nails grow fast but break easy and I drink and eat tons of dairy so that can’t be it. I have noticed that when I use chemical cleaners without gloves when cleaning my house, my nails get more weak and bendy and sickly looking.
