This past week I wrote my 900th post for THE MEDIAN SIB.  Doing the math, that works out to almost exactly two posts every single day since I began this blog in September 2005.  Wow!  I’m proud of myself.  Of course there are some posts that I don’t like and others that I do like.  For the most part, though, I’m really proud of THE MEDIAN SIB.

Up until I started THE MEDIAN SIB I kept most of my writing to myself, although some of my stories and op-ed pieces had been published in the past.  Somewhere in one of my storage rooms is a notebook with all the articles I’ve had published in newspapers or magazines.

At this time of year it is natural to start thinking about goals for the coming year.  One of my goals is to start working on my children’s stories  Children’s literature has always been a great love of mine.  My dream is to write wonderful books for children.  I’d love to visit schools and read my books and others to groups of children and encourage and inspire them to write their own stories and to unleash their imaginations.  2007 will be the year that I start working toward that dream.
