Here’s an easy recipe for Monkey Bread
MONKEY BREAD
1/4 cup sugar
1Â tsp cinnamon
2Â cans refrigerated biscuit dough
1/2 cup light brown sugar
1/4 cup butter, melted
Preheat over to 350. Spray a small bundt pan with Pam. You can use a loaf pan or cake pan instead of the bundt pan, if you prefer. Â
Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a plastic food bag.
Separate the biscuits, and then cut each one into quarters. Place the biscuit pieces in the bag with the sugar and cinnamon. Shake to coat well. Then place the coated biscuit pieces in the pan.
Mix the brown sugar and melted butter. Pour over the biscuit pieces.
Bake for approx. 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan for about 10 minutes. Then invert onto a plate. Serve warm. You just pull apart however much you want to eat. Makes 6 servings.
This makes a great dish to take to a morning meeting.

If you think that’s good, you should try it with bananas
TMS: Oh wow! Now THAT sounds good! How do you add the bananas, though? Slice them and put them between the biscuit pieces?

MMMMMMMM YUM! I make this … not as often anymore as I used to! But we actually had Monkey Bread for Christmas morning this past Christmas! It’s one of my family’s favorite treats!

Carol - I have no idea how to add bananas. Jarhead John is running a contest and I jumped in.
But you are really nice to think it sounds good

Looks great. So easy even I can make it!
Well, i can cook, just too lazy. Mostly about the cleanup
What do I add to make it Surrender Monkey bread? Is there like some pink frosting I can add?
TMS: I think white frosting (as in a white flag) might be appropriate. Pink for sissy surrender. Yellow for yellow-bellied surrender…

I gave the recipe to some friends, and they whipped a batch up. Was excellent!
TMS: And you didn’t invite me over for some of it?

Sounds like just what I was looking for in my Google Search! Quick and easy for breakfast tomorrow morning- especially since I only have 2 cans of bisuits on hand! I’ve also heard that adding cream cheese can be addictive! I’ll definitely keep your site in mind for other great recipes.
