1. I’m thankful the presentation I had to do this past Monday is OVER! It turned out fine, and the evaluations that the teachers did on the session were almost all positive. Â
2. The plumbers finished their work on our new house - for now. There will be more to do a little further along. The electricians will finish their work next week.
3. The fireplace was put in the house on Friday. It’s a wood-burning “stove” but it looks like a fireplace. It is really beautiful, and I can envision the many evenings we will spend relaxing in front of that fireplace.
4. I am thankful that my son-in-law came through his minor surgery just fine and is now recuperating and feeling better.
5. I’m glad that Sunshine is over the croup. She had a pretty bad cough there for a couple days.
6. I’m thankful that my job is flexible enough that I was able to stay home with Sunshine on Thursday so her mommy could be with her daddy when he had his operation. What a special time of being with both Sunshine and Sweet Stuff. It was fun driving Sweet Stuff to school Thursday morning and watching her walk so confidently into that building!
7. I’m thankful my mother had a good birthday on Monday and that most of my siblings were able to be with her on her birthday. I hope I get to visit her within the next couple weeks.

Carol - I can’t get blogger blogs to open for some reason - and when/if they do finally open I can’t get the comments to open. So I haven’t left a comment over at the Sunday Seven hub. just fyi.
TMS: I’ll bet it has something to do with the incompatibility thing that kicks me offline whenever I visit your blog or try to comment. I usually have to go through several tries to read or comment. I wonder what makes it do that?

I’m sorry Sunshine has been sick and am glad to hear she’s better! I can’t wait to see your finished house! How exciting! My SS is up even though I didn’t link it. I’m still learning how all this works.

What kind of presentation did you do? I give presentations for teachers as well…they can be the “best” audience…but they are also tough at times.
I’m enjoying traveling around and visiting the Sunday Sevens. I did my first one today….and I’m SO GLAD that you’ll be continung TT..
Blessings.

I’m sure your finished house is going to be great. The location sounds so beautiful. Best wishes to Sunshine and Sweet Stuff and their parents, expecially their Daddy, since he has been sick.

Sounds like a wonderful week. A new house! Awesome. We just moved into a new church building. The construction process was such an education, but a good thing to go through. Enjoyed reading your Sunday 7. Mine is up as well. http://www.myprairierose.com/QuietTimeCompanion/?p=59

Wow girlfriend, sounds like it has been a busy week for you and your family. Know you are breathing a sigh of relief that your presentation is over….Are you really taking over T13? Congrats on keeping a good thing a good thing. I was deeply moved by your comparison of Anna Nichole and Brittany Spears….I too wished I had prayed for Anna but you can be sure that Brittany is now on my prayer list. She is the same age as my son and I know what he is going through….I can’t imagine the pressures on her.

It’s great to know that everything went very well with you the past week especially the successful operation of your son-in-law.
Cheers to another beautiful week!
