Thirteen Good Things About March
 1. Spring break
2. Flowers begin to bloom - especially daffodils and jonquils.
3. The weather gets warmer.
4. It’s still possible to have a snow day from school. It rarely happens, but there’s still that possibility to cling to.
5. The trees start to fill out with leaves.
6. I can wear sandals again. Well some days are warm enough for sandals.  I LOVE wearing sandals.
7. Daylight Savings time begins.  It’s wonderful having daylight last well into late afternoon/early evening.
8. Lots of birds are around - busy building nests and visiting the bird feeders.
9. It’s easier to grill outside.
10. I know that summer break is getting closer.
11. Stores stock summer clothes, and I enjoy shopping for summery clothing.
12. Everything looks so new and fresh.
13. The greens of the trees and bushes and flowers are just spectacular. Green is my favorite color, and spring is bursting with all the varied shades of it.

I wish some of those things would hurry up, especially the weather. although i dont want it too hot, that would make hiking even harder.
I think the weather is nice enough to grill about twice a year in the UK, all the rain spoils it!
Happy 1st TT being the boss!

Thanks for saving the 13……:)
It’s been really warm here the last couple of days. I’ve pulled my flip-flops out. I dearly love them….they are long-lost friends at the end of the day.
All of our jonquils are out….hope the frost doesn’t get them. I know we will have one more bout…we always do.

My yellow bell is blooming and I planted some pansies. I love it when the flowers start to bloom. Thanks for visiting my TT.

Spring Break, yay! However, DST is a big pain in my ass at the EDJ (Evil Day Job) this year with the time change. Happy TT!

We’re going through a wet-and-cold snap at the moment - but in March, the hills will be a gorgeous, rich Kelly green.
For about three weeks.
Then it’s back to the “golden”, dry, sere, dead hills of California.

I’m ready for spring too! Great list.
Happy TT!

Ahhhh…. lovely T13 that gave me spring fever!!! *lol*
How I wish that the snow could go away now! I have no use at all for it since I don’t even ski
OK, I could throw a snowball, but at who? The neighbours? Hm…. Good idea!!!

You forgot to mention the most important thing ! THE SPRING FEELINGS ! lol !
February 28th, 2007 at 11:48 pm
I love that it stays lighter longer. I hate when its dark when I get off work. I want sunlight longer.
My 13 are up.

All hail the new queen of TT!
I love spring and March is the best month to kick it off. Of course this year I’m not looking forward to April and my baby turning one. I just can’t stand the thought!

I am looking forward to March - although it was snowing here today - still there are signs of spring everywhere. Crocuses poking their heads out of the ground. And the air smells cleaner . . .
Thanks for saving TT. This is week #4 for me. I’m all about spirals this week. Take care!

And from here in Boca…time to put the sweaters away! Sorry, I couldn’t resist! As a “median sib”, you might appreciate one of my TV quotes on my TT today!

A wonderful list! I think Spring is my favorite season.
Happy TT!

Oh Yeah! We might have a snow day tomorrow. No sandals here until May, maybe April.
We change the clocks early this year. Woo-Hoo!

Speaking of snow days! Today I awoke to find 2-3 inches of snow and the local school district finally closed for the day (we’ve had a number of unusual snow days this year)! Not that the school closing effects me. Still, a snow day in March for this area? Unheard of!

Your list sure did make me look forward to spring. Though you did forget March Madness

March is a wonderful month, I can’t wait for it warm up here as well. Done and tired of the cold weather, now it should be in the 80s all the time
March 1st, 2007 at 1:37 pm
I love Spring!
March 1st, 2007 at 1:48 pm
What I’m looking forward to most is DST beginning. I don’t care about losign an hour sleep if that means it gets darker later! WOOHOO!
You did forget one important part of March… St. Patty’s Day!
Happy TT and thank you SOOO much for taking over!
March 1st, 2007 at 1:54 pm
I love your list and I also love March! And…thank you for what you are doing with TT!

Good reasons to look forward to March. It comes in like a lion and goes out like a lamb. I’m personally looking forward to some nice weather.
TMS: I’m awfully slow today. Until I read your comment, I hadn’t even thought of the “in like a lion - out like a lamb” thing. And we got out of school two hours early today because of all the bad weather. So I’m looking forward to wonderful weather at the end of the month.

March is SUCH a huge relief! I realized it was March today and all of a sudden my whole day perked up. Thank God we made it through January and February!
And you put the feeling so prettily, too! Happy TT!

That’s a great idea to make such list in the very first day of March!
congratulations!!
Happy TT!!

I LOVE March, too. It’s such a beautiful month—especially here in Florida where you sometimes still get cool nights and warm breezy days.
My TT is up, too.
