Appetizer
What is your usual bedtime? Do you like that, or would you rather it be different?
Usually around 10:00 p.m. When I was single I stayed up much later. However, I feel better getting more sleep.
Soup
When it comes to advice, do you give more or receive more?
I definitely give more - but only when asked. I don’t give unsolicited advice.
Salad
Describe a memorable meal you’ve had.
I love eating at “The Melting Pot.” Any meal there is memorable.
Main Course
Name a work of fiction that affected the way you think about something.
I’m drawing a blank right now. Probably HAWAII by James Michener. It made me think differently about missionaries.
Dessert
What is your favorite type of fruit juice?
Orange juice - I keep those little cartons of OJ in the small refrigerator in my classroom - and I drink at least one of them each day.

What sort of food do they serve at The Melting Pot?
TMS: The Melting Pot is a fondue restaurant. Cheese fondue, bouillion fondue for meat and vegetables, and then chocolate fondue for dessert. It’s pricey - but it is SOOOO good. It takes about 2 hours for a meal. But the atmosphere, and the fact that you’re cooking the food yourself is wonderful. They mix the cheese fondue at the table - same for the chocolate. They have all kinds of sauces to go with the meat and vegetables for the main course fondue. I haven’t been to The Melting Pot in a couple years - but it is still my favorite place to eat out.

Wonderful feast. You know, I don’t think I have EVER eaten at The Melting Pot.
It sounds great though.
Thanks for stopping by for a little nibble at my table!

I’m not a huge fan of fiction, but I too really enjoy Michener’s Hawaii–must have read it well over 30 years ago but it has stayed with me.
As will Fondue. I saw a recipe this week in our local paper–1,329 mg sodium, and 735 calories. Not sure of the serving size.
