When I woke up after Phil Stacey’s song on AMERICAN IDOL tonight, I realized that surely he will go home tomorrow night. Could there possibly have been a more boring performance? I don’t think so. If I were a betting person, I would put some major money that it was his swan song.
Now that I’ve written that, I’m sure he probably won’t go home. I WISH Blake would be eliminated, but he won’t be. Neither will Sanjaya. He’s a cult hit now.
So my figurative money is on Phil Stacey.Â

I am with you on your predictions! I wish it would be Blake or Sanjaya, but it will probably be Phil. It might even be the rocker babe — she was awful this week. One of the fascinating things about this program is that singers who are terrible one week can come back and be good on another song another week. Originally, I thought all of the guys were absolutely terrible, awful. Now some of them are doing OK. Even Sanjaya wasn’t that bad this week. I think that Haley is better than Simon gives her credit for being, too. I like the fact that she seems blase about their criticism.
TMS: I agree with you about Haley. While she isn’t the strongest female contestant, I like her style and the fact that she takes Simon’s words with a grain of salt. I started liking her the week she forgot her words - and she was so HUMAN about it. Sanjaya just seems oblivious to everything. Gina WAS weak last night, but I think she’s got a big enough following to stay longer. I didn’t think her song choice suited her.

I told my sister that I think Phil is going home tonight too. It was a boring song. The sad thing is that he has a good voice too.
Hey, thanks for putting my site as one of the featured blogs on the TT website this week. What an honor (and a surprise). I went to see if this weeks list was up yet, and saw my blog up there. It took a few seconds to realize it because I thought, “Hey, someone has the same site as me!” It takes me awhile, and I am not even blond! Haha!
