“A weekly meme for giving thanks and/or for noting important events in our lives”
Sunday Seven - Edition #11
This week I’m thankful for my family. Right now I’m visiting my mother in Georgia - getting ready for a bridal shower this evening for my niece. I’ve been visiting with some of my siblings, working out, cooking, and generally having a good time. What fun!
I’m thankful that . . .
(1) I had a safe trip from Tennessee to Georgia on Thursday evening,
(2) The bad weather has completely missed us - so far,
(3) My niece, Jessica, is happily engaged, and she and her fiance should really enjoy the party tonight,
(4) Everything is ready for the shower this evening - the house is cleaned, the decorations are up, the food is ready,
(5) There’s a Curves here that I attended yesterday and today for a workout - so I’m still on schedule with my workout plans,
(6) My sister who received some bad news this week is “taking the bull by the horns” and will come out of this stronger and happier than ever,
(7) I will get to be with my mother and all but one of my siblings tonight at the bridal shower.
