I really enjoyed “American Idol” last night. I TiVo’d it and then skipped through all the “Idol Gives Back” crap and only watched and listened to the contestants’ singing.  However, the singing was good - and certainly worth watching.
I think that tonight’s elimination will be one of the following three: Lakisha, Chris or Phil. Phil continues to underwhelm me with his singing. Plus he looks weird. I’ve said it before, but a bald head looks good on some people. Unfortunately Phil is not one of those people. Then he wears those silly-looking hats. Most of all, though, his voice just isn’t that strong - nothing distinctive about it. I think he’s the one going home tonight. I wouldn’t be surprised, though, if Chris or Lakisha are eliminated.
Again, Lakisha screamed rather than sang. And Chris has a teeny-bopper type voice.  As always, I don’t “get” Blake at all. His voice is weak and he has absolutely NOTHING to distinguish him from a zillion other mediocre singers. I think the fact that he did the beat-boxing (is that what it’s called?) set him up as unusual from the beginning - and all his subsequent weak and non-memorable performances have not yet overcome that image. Give him time, though. There’s no way he could win the competition.
For me, the whole thing is between Melinda and Jordin. I think Jordin has the edge because of her personality.

I have to agree with you that Phil, Chirs and Lakhisa will be in the bottom three.
The first and second place will be Melinda or Jordin, IMO. And, at that point they are both winners.

I LOVE Jordin and I really beleive in her. She just gets better and better each week. I really think she is going to win this competition!!!!!! Go Jordin!

I think Jordan will win. Her personality will make a good American Idol. Malinda and LaKisha are older and they wouldn’t make good American Idols. I hope Blake doen’t win.

You guys are all retarded! Blake is the most unique! for me its between Blake and Jordin. Melinda is going to go home, i mean if i dont even remember how to spell her name that must mean something like SHE SUCKS!!!! I mean Malinda can sing but, she never ever wows me. I mean Blake and Jordin are the only ones who have only wowed me and I think Chris Richardson should been up in the top 3 with Blake and Jordin. Plus just to put into the subject Sanjaya should of not even been in the singing compitition. First he creaped me out, he smiled to much! Plus he was the worst singer EVER!!! he only got through because he was weird and had all these weird hair styles!!!! Blake and Jordin are going to win!!!!!

AMY……….I AGREE WITH YOU TO A POINT. I LOVE BLAKE, AS HE IS SO TALENTED AND UNIQUE WE HAVE NOT SEEN THIS ON AI BEFORE! JORDIN IS AN AWESOME SINGER SHE HAS A GREAT PERSONAILTY TOO. MELINDA SINGS ON KEY EVERYTIME SHE IS A GOOD TOO HOWEVER, I WOULD NOT BUY MELINDA’S MUSIC. I WOULD LIKE TO SEE JORDIN & BLAKE IN THE FINALE. I HOPE THIS HAPPENS WE WILL SOON FIND OUT TONIGHT ON IDOL! TMS: However there is one characteristic that trumps them all. Jordin is a fantastic singer. Blake is mediocre. Jordin is a 17-year old who can outsing just about anybody. That’s pretty damn unique.
