In reading blogs this morning, I came across one that declared that “educated” voters would, of course, vote Democrat.  That particular blogger wanted clubs in schools to “educate” children and youth in civics.

You know - if we poor uneducated Republicans could only know as much as the supremely wiser Democrats, we would feel the same as they feel and would give up our ignorant beliefs and become enlightened and “progressive” as God intended us to be.

I still marvel that such arrogance and such a wide-spread condescending attitude can be so widely accepted.  To many Democrats, people are too ignorant and/or stupid to make their own decisions and manage their own lives.  They need the government to do their thinking for them and to provide for them.

It is the power of the liberal press!!!! The predominant liberal media has managed to equate “conservative” with ignorance in the minds of the average unthinking public. An example is the way Dan Quale, and even Ronald Regan, was protrayed…

When President Clinton was going through the Monica scandal, he was shown every Sunday on the steps of a church holding his Bible. He had a crew of ministers to come to the white house to “counsel” with him and was shown with them on TV and lthe media. Yet it is “George W.” or “Shrub” who is protrayed as “wearing his faith on his sleeves” The new Speaker continues to tells us…”Democrats have “values” but we do not wear our faith on our sleeves.”

TMS: the liberal press and the Democratic party in general has been very successful in characterizing conservatives and Republicans as uneducated and bigoted. It is telling how quickly and blindly so-called “intelligent” Democrats swallow that line. It’s the easy route. If you dismiss your opposition as being stupid, then you don’t have to look at your own policy and opinions very carefully.

I’m not a Republican but my DH is, and he’s *way* more educated than the average Democrat.

I do, however, agree that children ought to be taught more about civics than government-run schools typically do. That doesn’t have anything to do with trying to influence political affiliation though! I just think that Americans should be more informed citizens in general -)

If you look at the figures in a 2008 election poll seperated by age group you will see that as education increased Democratic presence increased. The youngest age group of this years American voters is Majorly swayed towards Democratic. and less so as we get older and older back in the 20th century. This is the 21st century though. Catch up. It is shown in studies that Republicans are not stupid though. The actual problem is that Republicans think entirely different than we do. In fact they use the entire other half of their brain. See, a Democrats reactions to political debate are seen in the Right side (Logic) Republicans react in the Left side (Emotional) They don’t think about the logic of for example: Giving the government more power by overlooking the Constitution and making Abortion illegal. Only democrats see what that would mean as far as our governments power Republicans cannot get their mind much further than the Abortion part. The emotional side of the brain takes no interest in logic. Republicans don’t even realize that they hang by a limb from falling into Communism beleif systems. First they say you can’t have abortions then they end up telling you when to have the abortion to protect the nation from over population. Democrats would never approve power beyond the constitution. This will save us in the end. More power or less power? That is the only question between Dem or Rep. Republicans get lost in their rlegious veiws or fears of gay people or general mis-education about the 21st century. They just don’t fit in. Thats why only the midwestern states and a ew southern are all Rep. These people are rich and out of touch wih the world that is experienced near the coasts which are dominated by Democrats. These cities are larger and more complex whereas a good example of a Democrat is the idiot we elected last time who lives on a Ranch and knows nothing about America at all. He never lived in America. He lived rich, high class, seperated from the real world. Well anyways Democrats are taking over the nation. As the older generations die off every new generation is becoming more democratic and this is seen in any statistical graph or line-up that you can find. Soon there won’t be any ignorant commies that don’t even realize what they stand for. The republican party was stolen by Religious freaks and fearful powermongers. You can very easily decide if a person is worth talking to by asking what party they side with if they say Rep. we know they are based on emotions not logic. This a fundamental proven difference between us.

Devin, your comment - with its misspellings, incorrect punctuation and capitalization, improper word use and poor sentence and paragraph structure - sure doesn’t advance your argument. And that’s not even counting the fact that you ramble and make very little sense. No one would take your comment seriously.
