Another Conversation - this time from Sunshine

Sunshine, Sweet Stuff and their mommy (my Stinkeroo) were shopping for fall shoes.  Sunshine tried on a pair of brown shoes with pink flowers on them.

Sunshine:  I LOVE these shoes.

Mommy:  I’m glad you like them so much.

Sunshine:  (very seriously) I wish to marry them.

I think the child has an enormously wonderful sense of humor.

    that has long been the sentiment used by the kiddos to emphasize ‘mom, I really mean it . I love this’.
    Though once, it was a jelly donut …. sigh
