RT and I have gone through a lot of boots - especially RT.  When we went to Alaska last year we both packed hiking boots for all the hikes we planned around Denali.  And did they ever come in handy!  With all the rain and cold weather, parts of the trips would have been miserable without them.   Our hiking boots kept our feet warm and dry.  Even hiking around our land, hiking boots are necessary to provide my ankles the support I need to hike comfortably.

Hunting Boots are something else we have a lot of, too.  Really, if you looked around our house, I’d bet there’d be at least seven or eight pairs of hunting boots around our house.   RT has gone hunting every year since he was old enough - and our son, too.  Again, with hunting weather being generally cold and occasionally wet, the appropriate boots are necessary to keep feet warm and dry.
