Okay. I admit it. I have a definite favorite for who I want to win this season’s Dancing With The Stars. I want Marie and Jonathan to win. Why you might ask? She’s not the best technical dancer. However, she’s the most improved of the three finalists and, most importantly, she’s an older woman (relatively speaking) - and she’s holding her own with the younger and more athletic contestants. She has eight children - four of whom she bore biologically. It’s no small feat to come back to her level of physical fitness and strength after having four children.
On tonight’s show, Lenny said something about her limited “range of movement” and I could identify with that. I admire Marie’s gumption for going out there - despite her limited range of movement - and giving it all she’s got. I just don’t care for Helio or Mel B. I don’t know why, but they lack the personality to deserve to win - in my opinion. The winner should be someone who has some charisma and people-appeal. To me, Mel B and Helio are completely lacking in that area.
So YEA for Marie Osmond. I hope she wins.

People magazine states that Marie has 3 biological children.
TMS: I’m sure I’m wrong then. I was writing from what I thought I heard in an interview with Larry King. I’ll check and correct it if I’m wrong. Thanks for letting me know.

Please, the only reason Marie is still there is because she and Donny won’ t let her get out of the limelight. She is terrible and should have gone weeks ago, staying only because of people like you who don’t understand it is a dancing talent show and not a popularity contest of 1960’s has beens. She is a fool, a goon, and should be put out to pasture someplace.
TMS: Ouch, Geoge! I think you have some anger issues to resolve. I disagree that it is purely a “dancing talen show.” There’s a lot more to being a good dancer than skill/technique. A little bit of positive personality will help. Both Mel and Helio fall short in that department. I wrote this post before the freestyle portion of Monday’s show, and I admit, I disliked Marie and Jonathan’s freestyle dance last night. A lot. That one dance was enough for me to figure they don’t deserve to win. Dancing should be graceful and rhythmic, and that was neither. What were they thinking?! Still I don’t like Mel or Helio. So - who knows who will win. At this point, I really don’t care.
