Many things I’m thankful for this week:
(1) Sunshine’s love of apples: “I LIKE sour apples” - a phrase we’ll be repeating for years to come. (You had to be there! -) )
(2) Sweet Stuff’s sweet nature - listening to her talk to her mommy (my little girl!) on the phone
(3) RT’s frequent affirmation of his love for me
(4) Our church and the friends we have there, and the beautiful music each week
(5) That RT and I got most of the blinds put up last night - and mostly that the blinds fit (yea! I measured well!)
(6) The entire Christmas season - there’s nothing about Christmas that doesn’t make me happy
(7) Our driveway - It sounds strange, but everytime I drive on our driveway, I think of how beautiful the scenery is

I understand about your driveway. While ours is not as long as yours, every time I turn into it I find myself being so thankful for the beautiful scenery I get to look at every day!

TMS: I remember your driveway, and it IS beautiful. I’m glad you understand what I meant.

There is certainly nothing special about our driveway — except it ends at “home”. Thanks for sharing your seven blessing of the week, Carol.

    I like your list!
    Family is such a blessing.
I understand about the driveway too, i cannot wait till our garden comes alive, this house has been empty for 30 years so the yard is dead… must remedy that this year coming! D

I’ve participated in Sunday Seven for the first time this week ) It’s a great idea! We have so much to be grateful for!!

:) You know - that driveway is just the kind of thing that God really WANTS you to be thankful for! I’m sO glad you mentioned it! I know as I drive down our “big road” (we live waaaaay out in the country) I’m always AWED by the beauty God provides! Some of His sunrises and sunsets as I drive that road just leave my heart HURTING with the glory of Him! Great list!

I love your list. It is the simple things in life that really mean the most to many of us. Every time I pull into our driveway, I look at our home and thank God for such a wonderful blessing.

    Hi Carol!
Can you tell m eif you are still taking members for the Sunday Seven blogroll? I’ve tried a few times to email via the SS blog but haven;t heard anythingback. Is there a code I need to post or something else I need to do before joining? I’ve been doing the meme for a while now and link back thru the main site…just making sure I am doing things correctly. I love having set aside time each week to think back on things I am thankful for…it relaly helps keep you focused on what matters!
    Thanks!

TMS: Hi Trish. I got WAY behind on Sunday Seven and Thursday Thirteen when I was without internet access for several months. I just added you to the blogroll. There are no other requirements. I figured for Sunday Seven I wouldn’t require people to put up the blogroll. If you want to put it up, that’s great. Thanks for participating.
