Last Sunday I was sad to see Kynt and Vyxsin eliminated from The Amazing Race. They were classified as “dating Goths” whenever their names were displayed on the screen. Yes, their clothes, makeup and hair are very strange. However, I enjoyed watching them interact with each other. I also enjoyed the looks they got from people in other countries as they made their way through all the detours, road blocks and pit stops of the race. One taxi drive kept looking in the rear view mirror and laughing.
After they were eliminated, Kynt said something about how, despite their unusual appearance, they’re just two kids from Louisville, Kentucky. I liked that - and I wish them lots of luck - separately and/or together.
I still wouldn’t want to be with a guy who wears more make-up than I wear - but that just my preference.
