It has started in earnest.  It was inevitable, and I’ve already written about how this issue will affect the campaigns of the leading Democratic candidates.   Bill and Hillary Clinton are having to defend things they’ve said against charges of racism.  It will probably backfire on Al Sharpton and all the folks who see race connotations in anything a white person says.  The most vocal and blatant racists I know of are people like Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson who support people based solely on their race - people who are willing to ruin people’s reputation based on their own assumptions of racism rather than on facts.   I believe this charge of racism, along with all the ones that will surely follow, will ultimately hurt Barack Hussein Obama’s chances of being elected.
