I got the following from my younger sister, Debi, awhile ago. I followed the directions and replaced HER answers with MY answers and sent it to the family. Then I decided I would also post it here. If you would like to follow suit, just copy the questions and provide your own answers.
1. WERE YOU NAMED AFTER ANYONE? Mary - from my Aunt Mary. Mother, where did “Carol” come from? The feminine form of Charles? And Mother came up with “Cabbie” because she wanted something different from “Carrie” for a nickname.
2. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU CRIED? last night - I was watching a rerun of “Sex and the City” and Charlotte and Harry got back together again - they saw each other across the room - their eyes locked - and they slowly walked to each other, and Charlotte said “I’ve missed you” - with her voice cracking… very tear-jerky - didn’t really CRY - just had tears in my eyes. Which, considering I’ve seen that particular episode of SATS at least two or three times, shows just how pitiful I can be.
3. DO YOU LIKE YOUR HANDWRITING? Yes - I’m a teacher - of course I have nice handwriting..
4. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE LUNCH MEAT? Honey Ham
5. DO YOU HAVE KIDS? Yes - two kids, two grandkids
6. IF YOU WERE ANOTHER PERSON WOULD YOU BE FRIENDS WITH YOU? I would hope so.
7. DO YOU USE SARCASM? Yes - probably too often.
8. DO YOU STILL HAVE YOUR TONSILS? Yes.
9. WOULD YOU BUNGEE JUMP? Yes - after checking everything out carefully. I once had the opportunity to skydive, and I chickened out. I wish I had gone through with it.
10. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE CEREAL? hot oatmeal with brown sugar and butter
11. DO YOU UNTIE YOUR SHOES WHEN YOU TAKE THEM OFF? Sometimes - usually I tie them too tight to get them off without untying them - but if I can, I do.
12. DO YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG? I am pretty strong for a woman.
13. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE ICE CREAM? Jamoca Almond Fudge (Baskin and Robbins)
14. WHAT IS THE FIRST THING YOU NOTICE ABOUT PEOPLE? I don’t know - guess it differs depending on the setting.
15. RED OR PINK? pink
16. WHAT IS THE LEAST FAVORITE THING ABOUT YOURSELF? my weight.
17. WHO DO YOU MISS THE MOST? Daddy

20. WHAT WAS THE LAST THING YOU ATE? Homemade beef vegetable soup with oyster crackers.
21. WHAT ARE YOU LISTENING TO RIGHT NOW? A football game that RT has on TV - the Green Bay Packers against New York Giants - I think it’s a championship game - He is very into it.
22. IF YOU WHERE A CRAYON, WHAT COLOR WOULD YOU BE? Green - maybe blue
23. FAVORITE SMELLS? a baby - coffee - a fire in the fireplace - newly baked bread

25. DO YOU LIKE THE PERSON WHO SENT THIS TO YOU? Yes .. She is my sister, Debi - a sister who cross-stitched a really pretty “sisters” picture for me many years ago. I unpacked it last night and was reminded again of what a wonderful person she is. The cross-stitch picture will go up on the wall sometime tomorrow.
26. FAVORITE SPORTS TO WATCH? football (professional or college) - and in person - the grandgirls’ soccer games
27. HAIR COLOR? Nature gave me medium brown hair - but with the benefit of Clairol, it has blonde highlights
28. EYE COLOR? definitely green, although sometimes it looks a little hazel-y
29. DO YOU WEAR CONTACTS? no
30 FAVORITE FOOD? I love pizza - but there are so many kinds of foods, it’s hard to choose just one. Romantic comedies are my favorite.
31. SCARY MOVIES OR HAPPY ENDINGS? happy endings .. definitely - I HATE scary movies. Romantic comedies are my favorite. When I go to a movie, I want to be entertained. I don’t want to be scared or preached ot.
32. LAST MOVIE YOU WATCHED? Music and Lyrics (or somehting like that with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore) - I’ve been home by myself the past couple days - so I’ve been watching a lot of tv in between doing a bunch of chores around the house

42. FAVORITE SOUND? Sweet Stuff or Sunshine saying “Grandma Carol” - they blend all the sounds in the word “Grandma” to make it something like “gwamma” - it’s cute.

44. WHAT IS THE FARTHEST YOU HAVE BEEN FROM HOME? Alaska - July 2005 and September 2006
