I go to NYC on business sometimes, and one of the first unexpected things for me was the piles and piles of garbage on the sidewalks. The architecture is so wonderful--I always regret that I don't have enough time to just stand still and take it all in. I did take some pictures of some neat church architecture one time that I was there. You could probably find it if you search my blog. I agree with so many of these things.
