It’s Friday night, and it is snowing.  Weather forecasters are saying this will be our biggest snow in five years, and they expect an accumulation of up to five inches.  Did I mention it’s FRIDAY NIGHT.  There is no school tomorrow anyway.  So we get the biggest snow of the year, but we don’t even get a day out of school for it.  It’s a wasted snow.  Since we go to school the equivalent of TEN extra days each year in order to have snow days during the winter that we don’t have to make up, I just hate to go through so many winters with only one or two snow days.  So far this year we’ve only had two or three snow days.  That means we’ll have 7 extra days of school this year.   The temperature will be up to 45 by Sunday and mid-fifties on Monday.  So there’s no chance the snow will still be around on Monday morning.  We’ll have school right on schedule.  RT told me I needed to be a little more mature about it, but I don’t care.  Snow on a Friday night is a wasted snow to me.
