I’ve been reading a lot about BHO’s speech yesterday.  Some people are positively euphoric talking about it - as though BHO had done something monumental - as though he had said something that makes a difference.  He merely did an absolutely excellent job of “sounding” good.  It was a classic CYA speech.  He has proven repeatedly that he is a gifted and inspirational speaker.  It is perplexing to me that so many people - so many well educated and normally clear thinking people - have thrown reason aside and listen only to the “sounds” of the speech and not to what he’s actually saying.  How gullible and/or brainwashed are the people of the United States?

ANYONE who attends and supports a church that is led by a blatant long-term racist of the magnitude of Jeremiah Wright and continues to attend that church for twenty years and claims Wright as his “mentor” has no business being the president of the United States.  Period.  You don’t choose you family.  However, you DO choose your church and your friends.  This is not a brief lapse of judgment.  This is a major character flaw.  There was never a peep of disagreement from Obama about Wright until Wright’s racist and anti-American rants were made public.   And even then, Obama didn’t back down.  And even worse, he compares a rabid racist who preaches hates to thousands of people as week - a person who is supposed to be a “spiritual leader” but teaches instead anti-Biblical views - to his own grandmother who likely uttered her racially insensitive statements to only her own family.  So BHO chooses to disrespect his own grandmother to try to get out of this mess he’s in.  Yes, it shows that Barack Hussein Obama has a complete lack of character and conscience.

People, wake up!  You don’t attend and support a church for twenty years without agreeing with its basic beliefs - and the Trinity United Church of Christ preaches racism and anti-Americanism regularly.  That’s not “ill-advised” words. It is blatant racism that is worse by far than some backwoods KKK member who only spouts his racist beliefs to a few cronies.  And Barack Obama was right in the middle of the racist sermons - and never stood up and said it was wrong.  At its absolute best, he is a spineless wimp who was too afraid to stand up against what was wrong and too intimidated to leave the church.  And I truly doubt if that’s the case.

So, with the Democrats, we have a choice between Hillary Clinton and Barrack Obama.  We can have immoral Bill Clinton in the White House again or Barack Obama who supports a racist minister and church.  Apparently that’s the best they can come up with - and the infighting continues.
