I found this meme over at Cozy Reader who found it at Insanity Prevails .  I enjoyed viewing Jane’s replies, and so I decided to do the meme myself.  Here’s how it works:

1. Go to http://www.photobucket.com/
2. Type in your answer to the question in the “search” box
3. Use only the first page
4. Insert the picture into your Blog.

1.  What is your current relationship stat?

Very  happily - even when said spouse goes to bed when there is still lots of work to be done for our dinner party tomorrow night.  I’ll get home from work around 4:45 tomorrow afternoon.  Our company will arrive around 6:00.  I need help, but he’s sleeping.  Of course I’m not exactly busting my butt working either.  I’m doing this meme.   Maybe that makes us even.  No, actually, it makes him smarter.  At least he’ll feel rested tomorrow, and I’ll be dragging.

2.  What is your current mood?

It’s not that I’m THAT pissed off, but I liked this graphic.  And there IS that sleeping instead of helping issue right now.  My attitude will likely motivate me to work straight through the night - or till the wee hours of the morning anyway.  Unless I decide THWIA and go to bed myself (Later note: which is what I ended up doing).

3.  What is your favorite band/singer?

Josh Groban’s “Oh Holy Night” is just phenomenal.  There’s another song he sings that I love, but I can’t think of the title.  LOL!  It really made an impression on me, huh?

4.  What is your favorite movie?

If I really like a movie I can watch it over and over.  “When Harry Met Sally” is one I’ve seen probably a dozen times.  There are other movies, however, that I could just as easily name as my favorite:  Shawshank Redemption, The Bridges of Madison County, Gone With The Wind…

5.  Where do you live?

There were so many pictures to choose from, but I figured this one said what needed to be said.

6.  Where do you work?

This isn’t my classroom, and it doesn’t look exactly like my classroom - but it’s pretty darn close.  I have lots and lots more books.

7. What do you look like?

I typed in “green eyes” and this is what came up.

8.  What do you drive?

It’s eight years old now, but I still love my little beamer convertible.  It’s dark green.  You might ask why I wanted a dark green convertible.  The answer is “because I have green eyes.”  Truly - that’s the only reason I bought a green car.  Was I thinking I would look better in a car that matched my eyes?

9.  What’s your favorite TV show?

Maybe it’s because I’d love to travel around the world and see other countries and cultures, but I just love watching “The Amazing Race.”  I keep hoping that an older pair will win - and this past season it was really close - but perkiness won out over age.  I love watching the relationship dynamics between the pairs on the show - really fascinating.   I’d love to be on “The Amazing Race.”

10.  Describe yourself.

Yes, this is dorky.  I tried typing in a real description and it kept giving me the message that there were no matches.  Just imagine - no matches for “58-year old woman, wife, mother, grandmother teacher who needs to lose weight and who at the moment is very tired and overwhelmed.”   In frustration, I just typed in “teacher.”  That’s my description and I’m sticking to it. (And isn’t this the same as question #7 anyway?)

11.  What are you doing today?

Well, I SHOULD be cooking and cleaning.  However, as is obvious, I am writing this meme instead.  I must state, however, that I DO already have the fruit plate and breakfast casserole in the refrigerator and ready to take to school tomorrow for the monthly “birthday breakfast” - hosted this month by the related arts teachers (of which I am one).  I have two of the dishes for tomorrow night’s dinner party made and in the refrigerator, too.  I have a cleaning person scheduled to be here tomorrow morning to clean the house while I’m at school.  However, there is so much to do that the cleaning folks can’t do.  I just keep telling myself that everything that HAS to be done always gets done.  So stop stressing!

12. What did you do last night?

I feel kinda strange putting a photo of someone else’s baby on my blog.  I have no idea who this baby is, but he/she sure is adorable, and the photo popped up when I typed in “sleeping.”  I’m absolutely certain I’m just as adorable when I’m sleeping.  Last night I slept great until about 4:30 this morning when I was awakened and was unable to go back to sleep.  As a point of reference and information - if I’m sleeping, don’t wake me up unless there is some kind of imminent danger.

13.  What is your name?

I first tried “Carol” and came up with a photo of Carol Burnett.  I liked this little design that came up when I typed in “Mary Carol.”  I’ve always had a soft spot for people who call me by both my names.

Very interesting. I tried this meme too, but I couldn’t get any of the pics to show up after I chose them; so the unfinished piece is still in my drafts file.

I have no idea why the photos wouldn’t show up. All this technology stuff is mostly a mystery to me.:-)
