So Michael Johns didn’t get enough votes this week, and he was booted off American Idol.  I don’t think he had a chance to win the competition anyway.  So, even though I thought he’d probably remain on the show a few more weeks, I’m not really sad that he’s off the show.  I really don’t care.  I’m not real thrilled with the show this season anyway.  Just can’t get into it.  I’m glad the Janis Joplin wanabe is gone - the skunk-haired chick who equated screaming with singing.  Her singing was so cartoonish - just an obvious attempt to sound like Joplin.  No originality at all. 

Now that Castro kid with the dreadlocks needs to go next - then the two blonde chicks.  Well one of them is pretty good - although neither have been impressive enough for me to pay attention to their names.  Heck - I had to look up Michael Johns name to be able to identify him.  As I wrote earlier, it hasn’t been exactly a stellar year for AI.
