I work in a hospital, and yes, they are lightweight and cushy, also very nice to slide in and out of, Nice to air out the feet as well... But, My friends at work and I were all talking about them and all agreed that we trip a lot more in them than in normal shoes. It seems the front of the shoe is bigger and makes it easier to stumble. I bought a pair for my little brother (4yrs old) when I got mine (before I discovered the trip factor) and my mom will not let him wear "them stupid things" because they make him trip. However, I did discover that they make great chew toys for dogs... she demolished it! I think that Crocs are dangerous.
