(Spoiler alert! April 28, 2008 episode)
I’m sitting here watching “The Bachelor” and Chelsea (Chelsey?) is the only one making any sense - but her “sensibility” is fading fast. Now she’s falling back into the typical woman-vying-for-the-bachelor mode. At first she was acting a little distant because she knew that Matt had just spent each of the past two nights with two different women. She’s the third in line. And yet she is supposed to act natural and share her feelings with this man who is kissing and making out and having sex with three women at the same time. Now she’s acting as goofy as the rest of them. Oh well, I knew the brief glimpse of common sense was too good to last.
Is it any wonder that these “Bachelor” relationships almost never work out long term.
Here’s the rose ceremony. Where’s Chris Harrison? Matt’s handling this rose ceremony by himself. So Matt gives the first rose to Shane. The second rose goes to Chelsey - which means that he dumped Amanda tonight. As Matt walks Amanda off to talk to her about why he is sending her home, Shane and Chelsey just stand there looking forlorn. Yea for Amanda. Instead of crying and acting like a complete wimp, she told Matt what she thought of his behavior - and when he told her that he meant everything he had said to her, she told him she didn’t believe him.
By the way, with the stupid practical joke with the fake parents that Amanda played on Matt last week, I’m surprised he didn’t send her home last week. I think he kept her the extra week just to show that he can take a joke. However, the joke was really bad. You don’t put someone you “love” in such an uncomfortable situation on national TV when you’re trying to win him over.

when you said yea Chelsey..did you mean yay Amanda ? looking at the fingernails of the one that he proposes too in the previews …does it look like Chelsey’s hand or Shane’s ? I can’t wait to find out !!!

I’m getting excited for tomorrow…can’t wait to see who he picks…wasn’t it frustrating last Bachelor when he didn’t pick any of the two ??

OH..and I agree..that was really dumb of her to have fake parents..I’m sure he felt really uncomfortable…good thing he knew how to handle things especially with the fake mom touching him…ewww…I’m sure he was ticked off about it..but like you said..didn’t want to boot her out right away…lol no more meeps..

well in the end when they show who he proposes to i think it might be… Chealea’s hand… even though i dont want her to win… i want Shane to win….

between the two..my pick would be Shane..since Chelsea said she has a hard time even holding hands…what site is the spoiler ? I want to read it too =)

As you said, Chelsea said she has a hard time even holding hands - and Shane is in it for her career. I think he should do what last season’s guy did - send them both away.

my sister was thinking that the show is showing more highlights of him with Shane so we think it will be her…but they don’t show what really goes on with him and Chelsea so she thinks Chelsea will be chosen…so they’re trying to throw us off…and she noticed in the reunion..he was saying something (forgot waht about) and he slipped and said Chelsea’s name then caught himself and added Shanes name…so I wonder… maybe Chelsea is nicer than we viewers can see…and Shane really wants to be more famous ? hehe oh well..we’ll know soon =) anyone hear anything else ?

Shane is the real deal in and out. If I could be reincarnated I would be Shane. She rocks. Chelsea acts like she has a head injury or she taking “mother’s little helpers”. Go Shane!

Chelsea wins - they showed Matt on one knee holding a hand with bracelets around the wrist. When they show the girls getting ready for the big event - I only saw Chelsea wearing bracelets on her arm…

The bracelets are probably planted to give people the wrong impression. Show producers do anything to throw people off track.

i’m almost POSITIVE this whole episode of the bachelor was completely fake. If you notice, Matt sent all the true, real girls home very early in the beginning. the only ones left were the fake ‘actors’. this show is getting ridiculous.

I was totally happy that Matt picked Shane. Although many are critical of her I think she at least put forward who she really is. Also, she did not play games with Matt when it came to being honest about her feelings and telling him she loved him. Chelsea was just too uptight about this last process and really committed a faux pas when she critized Shane to Matt. I say the best to Shane & Matt and may they alwsys be in love.

I wasn’t sure about Shane in the beginning, but she really became one of my favorites the more I watched the show. Still makes me laugh when I think about her pulling out her makeup in the snow and how cutely she responded to Matt about having it with her so she could look good for him. She seemed very sweet and sincere about her feelings. I don’t think she wanted to win to boost her career, everybody needs someone to love, she’s no different. Her sense of humor, I loved it! Especially when she told Matt while being nervous about parasailing “the things I do for you, Matt!” and if something happened to her, “I wish you and Chelsea the best!” I never cared for Chelsea too much, even though I tried to give her a fair shot when it was narrowing down at the end. No matter what her excuses were for not opening up, she came off as aloof and cold, like she was unreachable and not down-to-earth. Her little tantrum when bashing Shane to Matt was the clincher. He was probably so glad of his decision after that! I hope Shane and Matt have a real chance of being happy together. They both deserve it!
