Okay, “Desperate Housewives” gets my vote for best season finale of any show I’ve seen. Possibly ever. I anticipated the usual cliffhanger - a tornado, a fire, a murder. Yada, yada, yada. Instead, they suddenly flash the words “Five years later,” and then they show each of the main characters five years later - and I have to say that Gabby and Susan have the most surprising lives five years later.
Now we’re left to wonder if they’ll pick up next year at the “five years later” point, or if they’ll pick up where the storyline left off before they did the five years later glimpse.
