So Barack Obama won’t release his birth certificate. I wonder why? I really don’t believe there is anything amiss here - except why on earth not release Barack Obama’s birth certificate? I can’t think of any reason not to release it. In most states it’s a matter of public record that anyone can accesss anyway. He just happened to be born in a state (Hawaii) where it isn’t.

It just seems like a really stupid thing for Obama’s campaign to do - unless they have a reason for it. Actually, I would think it would be a REQUIREMENT for anyone running for POTUS to have a birth certificate on file. Don’t candidates have to file documents of some kind to run for president? A valid United States birth certificate would certainly seem mandatory.
