There’s a place to go to buy gas cards at today’s prices that you can use from now on. My Gallons What if gas goes up to $5.00 a gallon to $6.00, or $10.00. If you buy a gas card now at today’s prices, then when everybody else is paying $10.00 for a gallon of gas, you can bring out your card and use it.

There’s an annual membership fee of $29.95, but then you could possibly make that up in just one or two gas purchases. There are, of course, conditions and limitations. So, if you’re interested, read all the fine print at the mygallons.com website. I’m skeptical that you could buy a card at $4.00 a gallon now to buy gas in a couple years at $10.00 a gallon. Buyer beware. Sphere: Related Content

Does anyone do homework anymore before writing or publishing a story? Looks like the answer is NO.
Here are the problems I see with mygallons.com site.
They state:
2000 members
Soft Launch in January
Problems:
Registered Domain in March
Registered company in April
Got SSL Certificate 2 weeks ago (Not possible to run credit cards without it)
Have testimonials on their site (Not possible since no site, no members and it takes 1-6 weeks to get card)
Site went live last week
Now Voyager, the supposed back end that runs the mygallons site says they have no business relationship with the company and the Voyager locater has been removed from the mygallons.com website, plus they have changed their details and have removed the Voyager details from there site, although for some reason, there are still some Voyager logo’s still on the site but my guess is that they will be removed sometime today.
Conclusion:
Not too good. Can you say “SCAM”? They are not being honest and truthful. Make your own conclusion. Do I feel safe sending them my hard earned dollars, absolutely NOT

I think those testimonials are from people who used the card during the trial period that started after the soft launch in january

Read the comments on the LA Times Blog. Looks like all of the details and an in depth investigation took place and details are posted in link below. The outlook for mygallons isn’t looking to good. Looks like a scam.

Dear MyGallons Member,
We developed the MyGallons program because, like you, we wanted to help solve the problems caused by the rising price of gasoline. We are proud of what we created and look forward to providing you with this innovative service in the very near future.
Due to difficulties with a key supplier, we are unable to deliver the service we promised to you at this time. We apologize for the delay.
You will be receiving a refund on your credit card for 100% of the membership fees that you have previously paid.
To express our sincere thanks for your loyalty and support, once we secure a new payment network, you will enjoy the benefits of the MyGallons program free of membership charges for your first year.
Rest assured, we are working diligently to secure a relationship with a new national card processing company. We will keep you updated every step of the way as we overcome the challenges we face together.
Sincerely,
Steven Verona
