Scott Peterson is the convicted murderer of his wife and unborn child, and yet he has his own website- his own web page. Although death row inmates don’t have direct computer access, they can use the U.S. mail to send letters out, and apparently others put their stuff on the internet.
Via the mail, inmates can post to a blog, look for penpals, raise money and correspond with the outside world.

“This is really offensive and distasteful to people who knew and loved Laci,” said attorney Gloria Allred. Allred called the trend disturbing. She represented Peterson’s girlfriend, and witness, Amber Frey, in the trial that convicted him of murdering his pregnant wife Laci. Allred said she feels as though the Web site is a way to reinforce his claim of innocence.
“Meanwhile victim’s family members see this and know that Scott Peterson appears to be having a good time on his Web page while their loved one is six feet under and will never return,” said Allred.
It rather creepy, really. The man who killed Polly Klaas is using the internet to find penpals. Other killers are selling their artwork and other personal items.
“Inmates are not supposed to be doing business on the Internet…’murderabilia’…other souvenirs,” said Allred.
Many inmates utilize sites in the United States, but there is one nonprofit called the Canadian Coalition Against the Death Penalty. That group creates Web pages for free for dozens of California death row inmates.

Scott Peterson should be dead already, he’s had too much freedom for a murderer. Put his death on pay per view with 80% of the funds going to Laci’s family.

I have no opinion about this directly. I have a meta-opinion that it is pathetic that humanity wastes its time in reflection on trivial nonsense like this. I mean, who gives a crap if some of our citizens want to post the words of a criminal. Pfft. Meaningless and not worthy of further attention. Why do we pay attention to the drifting, unreasoned ramblings of this woman? Please, Ms. Mother of Victim who wants to linger in the press…go away and live your life.

I understand Sharon Rocha’s distress, but I think it’s a little grotesque to go back on Larry King and reopen all the old wounds. The man has been sentenced to death. So he has a website, so what? Let Laci and all of us rest in peace.

I am all the way in Tampa, Florida, and I just wanted to say that it is a darn shame Scott Peterson had to do what he did to Lacy because he is a womanizor, big time. He could literally have had any woman he wanted only if he didn’t get married at all than kill the poor thing and their child. It’s just beyond comprehension of the human race to do something so decpicable and low down. The question still lyes, why did he not get a divorce if he didn’t want to be married anymore? He must’ve wanted his cake and eat it too. Just wanted to give my two cents worth in.

To the individual who says that anexecution should be on pay Per View, you are disgusting and barbaric. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. Scott (or any death row inmate) being killed will not bring a victim back. Killing someone elses son, brother etc., is not justice- it just means one more dead body. And by the way, mistakes do happen. you can’t pardon a corpse.

Here are some good Questions? .. How did Scott get all his fishing gear,all that concrete weights and a Dis-membered Body into a 14-16ft john boat and then managed to drive it to a public dock without being noticed? … And you’d think that with all that weight and his combined,someone would’ve thought it was weird how low that boat road in the water? … With all that weight in that boat,you’d think someone would’ve called him in, with the lake being all choppy and affraid he’ get caught up in the rip current’s?… And how come ”NO” concrete buckets were recovered? … And if he did do this terrible thing,Where did the Dis-memberment take part?… Where’s the blood scene at? …There’s way too many Questions and holes in this cover-up story! …Tommy/thumperjack

The media and Nancy Grace didn’t railroad Sh*t Peterson, he did it to himself when he afflicted horrendous acts upon his wife and unborn son. Nancy and the media were doing their jobs, and imparting their feelings and beliefs within their reports. It’s the right that ALL Americans have…freedom of speech. If Snott Peterson have the right to end lives, then we most certainly have the right to respond to his stupidity. Have a great day everyone.

scott peterson is my cousin. My father and his father are brothers. I dont know what happened to Scott, but my aunt and uncle are the most beautiful good hearted people you could ever meet. I believe that there only crime was to raise a spoiled brat who would do anything and think he would not get caught. I am angered by people who give my relatives no compassion. They are wathching the child they loved and raised get put to death. Yes he looks as guilty as hell and yes we feel compassion for Lacies family. But what about Scotts parents. Thet lost their grand baby and they dont know how to act or what to do because that was their son. Shame on anyone who thinks ill of my Uncle Lee and Aunt Jackie. I love you guys. Lyn
