It is almost comical to watch Campbell Brown “interview” anyone from the Republican party about Sarah Palin. She gets so over-wrought that she literally shrieks at them. She simply can’t stand that fact that John McCain selected Sarah Palin as his VP choice.

Campbell Brown - Shrieks at Republicans
I watched her a couple days ago and was appalled at her unprofessional behavior. Then, lo and behold, she did the same thing awhile ago. By the end of the segment, she composed herself and tried to end things a semblance of civility. However, she’d already blown any attempt at being objective. I’ve completely lost any trace of respect I might have had for CNN and especially for Campbell Brown. Sphere: Related Content

I am so happy over this choice that I can barely stand it! Three days ago I would have said Obama was a shoo in, but now, ha ha, no way!
People thought I just didn’t want a woman in the office, but now they understand that I just didn’t want Hillary!
Ain’t it grand!?

Sarah Palin is a perfect choice. She has managed to take all the attention away from Obama - and she’s showing the Democrats for the hypocrites they are.

Heather…If you read the papers or look at the news lately, you would see that supporting/voting for Palin would be Hypocracy for the Republican party. Not that I really care. You Republicans are all messed up in the head anyway!

Campbell Brown is no heroine. She’s a disrespectful snob. She does not represent anyone! If anyone thinks her interview with Tucker was that great, they are as idiotic as she is. She needs to be fired. Jealousy will get her no where. Nasty, nasty woman. Shrieking idiot. We middle class women who have worked to help our husbands support our families are proud of Sarah Palin. I am 70, mother of 5 and a grandmother. I will work to boycott CNN.

I agree Campbell Brown is a disgrace. “All Bias, All Bull”.
September 2nd, 2008 at 5:47 pm
Even though there’s not a single female journalist as accomplished as Gov. Palin (some, like Maria Shriver, Mondale’s daughter and Caroline Kennedy got jobs in media simply because of political connections)they ALL feel superior to her.
Now after years of liberal preaching about glass ceilings (and Gov. Palin should drop that empty rhetoric, too) they’re all but saying that Gov. Palin is not qualified to be Vice President because…her teenaged daughter got pregnant and she should be taking more time at home with her special-needs kids. Wow! I guess “sexist pigs” were right all along.
The left’s assumption that we would throw Gov. Palin off the bus because of her kids proves that they are today’s true elitists. They don’t get real America at all, which might be why they nominated the certifiably most leftist member of Congress!

McCain just pulled his interview with Larry King based on how she pounced on Tucker Bounds.
Good for McCain
September 2nd, 2008 at 10:26 pm
If CNN continues to allow Campbell Brown to voice her negative comments about Gov. Palin which has nothing to do with her ability to be the Vice Presidential choice. I have n e v e r
seen anything so bad and mean spirited as her reporting on this poor woman. Several of my
friends and co-workers have decided to tune out
CNN if this type of reporting continues. Campbell Brown needs to get back to reporting 101 or taken off the air!!!!!!

I couldn’t believe what I was hearing when Ms. Brown went into her hysterical tirade about Sarah Palin! I kept thinking she would stop or her producer would stop her-but, she just kept going and going. I will never intentionally watch her again. I’m afraid she must be “losing it”.
September 3rd, 2008 at 7:28 am
It’s amazing to me how all of you lump all Democrats together under Ms.Browns passionate interview. lol
You really do need to lighten up. The media brought Palin’s situation to light…not the Democratic Party. Get the facts straight!!!!
The Republican Party decided to make it an “admirable” situation out of it. If family matters…dirty laundry…doesnt mean anything, why do the members of the Mcain campaign continue to blab on about Ms.Palin’s family situation.
In addition, you all forget that the Republican Party has lost track of what it used to stand for: small government, a disciplined fiscal policy, integrity. Integrity…hmmmm. Ms.Palin seems to be fighting for her integrity with the recent turn of events with trying to defend her position on the State Trooper issue. If this Trooper is guilty of harrassment and threats against her family, then by all means crucify this unlawful beast! If she is found guilty of abusing her power as a delegate of the State, then leave it up to you all to sweep her indiscretions under the carpet and continue to support her. ;o)

“News reporting” has merely become another word for “lobbying”- whether being offered from whatever side of personal bias of the person/media/written-spoken source. It has gotten to the point that they legally should be required to register as lobbyist. Where, oh where can Americans get information NOT so tainted. It can be so refreshing reading/listening to articles written in other English-speaking sources. Independents and self-thining voters really DO need information of real facts pertinent to the election. It almost appears ALL media has lowered itself to what was once termed “yellow journalism/sensationalism”.
September 3rd, 2008 at 8:38 am
I have to agree with you Robbie to a certain degree. No one can truly ascertain if information brought forth from the media is fact. Nor can we truly know that the words coming out of the delegates mouth are going to be put in action. All we can do is wait and see who keeps their word. Based on actions alone, we see how Bush has run HIS office. I can honestly say, he clearly had “self” in mind not the people of the United States.

I watched the interview with Campbell Brown and it is clear to me that she is no better than the “smut” pages on the internet. To say she is a “qualified journalist” is a joke! Her job is to get the facts not interject her own personal distaste for whom she may be interviewing. Whether you are an independent, democrat, or republican, you should be insulted that Ms. Brown insinuated that Governor Palin may not be able to handle a family and the Vice-Presidency. I handled 5 kids, a husband, and a job on television, so one ever questioned my abilities!!!
September 3rd, 2008 at 1:42 pm
Campbell Brown raised a legitimate question in the face of Tucker’s attempt to spin and cover the truth about the extent of Palin’s experience. I seriously question Palin judgement for getting pregnant knowing the risk at her age and for going to work three days after delivery, then accepting such a time demanding job while have a child with special needs. Is anyone thinking about the child and what life lay ahead for the child? And this is the policy she advocated as governor: Abstaining, no contraception and no abortion. It should certainly make you question this policy.
September 3rd, 2008 at 10:50 pm
Gee, Michael, I’m impressed with your concern about Palin’s ability to get through her FIFTH pregnancy and raise her children without your expert advice. Check out your statements before you post them. She didn’t advocate no contraception. She doesn’t believe in abortion, but she has made no moves to outlaw it.

I’m looking for ways to forward complaints about Campbell Brown o CNN. I am a registered independent, and have been leaning toward Obama. I’m refreshed that we now have an interesting contest. BUT, Campbell Brown’s “analysis” is the most irrelevent, one-sided and unprofessional as any “journalist” today, with the exception of Olberman, who, at least, acknowledges he has no love lost for any republican. Campbell Brown, now more than ever, is feeling foolish for all her antics…. last night, John King (who I like alot and who is awesome on those CNN touch screens) did an excellent job of ripping into her on her faulty analysis after Palin’s speech as did David Gergen (Campbell Brown then came around and tried, unsuccessfully, to fix her own words), but frankly, she is just awful.
I like Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper (can’t stand Campbell Brown or Donna Brazille or Sean Hannity– all are partisan hacks, who never admit the faults of their own personal political choices or give congrats when an opponent succeeds.
So that’s my rant. Truly, Campbell Brown is not worthy of bewing a national television “journalist”
September 4th, 2008 at 8:53 am
Campbell, you were over the line! I hope you watched Gov. Palin last night. I would like to see you try to match her! You are a joke!
You should have stayed at NBC. Now CNN will loose alot of viewers because of YOU!
September 4th, 2008 at 9:11 am
I do believe the media bias has gotten out of hand. Don’t CNN, MSNBC, FOX and the others realize that the majority of us simply want an objective accounting of the news? Campbell Brown was a DISGRACE, and her tirade diminishes the stature of her colleagues at CNN, especially Wolf Blitzer, who seems to be repeatedly coming to her defense in such a pathetic, desperate way.
September 4th, 2008 at 6:13 pm
Wow… I’ve lost all respect for Campbell, she has repeatedly come across unprofessional. Seems she cannot keep her keep her composure or leave her bias at home. What a bad name for journalism and professional women. Wolf comes across so composed and respectful, but I’d rather watch another channel without all the shrilling soap opera drama…
September 4th, 2008 at 6:35 pm
The bottom line is that Sarah Palin was the best choice to help McCain win. It was a tactical move; McCain had a long list of far more experienced candidates, but they are old and boring and rich and male. Is she experienced? Not really…have any of you ever been to Alaska? Seems to me to be pretty easy to govern since nobody lives there and they have so much money from oil production a surplus is an easy feat. Again, she was chosen to stir the pot…and welcome to the world of journalism..it’s Campbell Brown’s job to stir the pot as well. Get over it! If news reporting was calm, collected, and reserved…it would be boring too! When has news coverage ever be unbiased, factual, and objective? Get over it!
September 4th, 2008 at 11:10 pm
No, it’s not Campbell’s job to “stir the pot.” Her job is to interview people - ask questions, but not to YELL at them when she disagrees with them.
And I’ve been to Alaska - twice, and while it has immense areas of untouched wilderness and tundra, it also has some very modern cities and a thriving culture. I’ve been to Wasilla, too - a very nice town.
September 5th, 2008 at 5:02 am
I agree with Carol, “it is not Campbell Brown’s job to stir the pot!” Her job is to ask questions and not to interject her own “personal” beliefs. Her “style” of journalism is NOT journalism. She really should be on a “fluff” style of show, i.e., Entertainment Tonight, etc. Perhaps writing for Us Magazine. CNN touts itself as a “News Program”, so they should be a News Program. Report the facts, ask the questions, keep your personal opinions to yourself!
September 5th, 2008 at 7:51 pm
I am finally admitting, after a lot of light beer and foo-foo martini drinks, that I was, well, a little, biased against Tucker Bounds. I know, I know, my network NEVER pressed Obama as hard on his “experience” as a “community organizer” and how that somehow “qualifies” him to be president, but that’s beside the point. You see, people of Middle America, since I am a member of the media elite, and a high and mighty woman at that, that I am always right, and Republicans (who are all really just white males anyway with no diversity), are always wrong. You see, I really want a black man to win the presidency, so I’m going to use my $3 million job to effectively campaign for Obama, pass through unchecked Democrat talking points and lines of attack, and (******* deleted because of explicit content ******) of every manager at CNN until they proclaim on air that I am not biased and that my line of questioning about Palin to Tucker Bounds was perfectly fair, because after all, there are “people” who want to know. Yes, yes, I know they are fictional made up people, but that doesn’t matter either. In other words, I am a high and mighty bitch of a woman, and anything I say or do goes, unchecked. Now THAT’s shattering the glass ceiling!!!!!
September 5th, 2008 at 8:01 pm
I really don’t have a problem with legitimate questions. My argument with Campbell Brown is the way she shrieked at Tucker Bounds and at least one other Republican rep. However, she’s received too much attention for this. She’s revelling in it. Tonight she, once again, replayed the segment so viewers could “decide for themselves” if she went over the line. She, of course, felt that she hadn’t. This is the second time I’ve seen her replay it. I changed the channel as soon as I realized what she was about to replay. She’s thrives on this crap and will probably get a raise and promotion.
September 6th, 2008 at 1:57 pm
I think that Campbell Brown is the best! There are sooooo many talking heads out there right now with soooo much time available. I record Campbell’s stuff because I think she is the best of the bunch. More Campbell Brown, I say.
September 12th, 2008 at 1:17 pm
Campbell Brown needs to take lessons from Mrs. Palin in being professional. I’m a white male trucker and will no longer watch Mrs. Brown insult Mrs. Palin. Sorry Mrs. Brown, I hope you squirm knowing that Sarah Palin will be the first woman president!!
September 12th, 2008 at 6:55 pm
Campbell Brown is extremely biased. If SHE has all the answers, along with some other journalists, such as Wolf Blitzer, then they should run for President themselves. They are supposed to report the news and be unbiased.
