I saw this over in comments at Michelle Malkin. (Comment #25 by happy_mama). I love it. Have any of you heard it before?
The experience of being a POW was a defining part of John McCain’s life. Not the “victim” aspect of it, but the strength of character that came from the experience. It is why I trust John McCain to be our president. He knows first-hand the worst of war. He won’t get us into war without great cause. However, he also won’t be wishy-washy in fighting a war. His opponent is untested, is out of touch with mainstream American and has accomplished little.
Sarah Palin is all that I admire in a person and a political leader. Her beliefs are very similar to my own, and she lives those beliefs - even when it’s difficult. No fair weather belief system there. The very fact that liberal women are so hysterically trashing Palin is proof that what is called “feminism” has nothing to do with real female rights and achievement.
We all know what P.O.W. stands for, but what does W.O.W. stand for? Kat suggested “Woman of Worth.” What do you think?

When I compare the two tickets, McCain-Palin comes out ahead on all fronts.

What does WOW stand for?

Obama has accomplished much. He has run a national campaign, he has mastered the art of saying one thing while doing another. He has become adept at using a teleprompter.

To Isabel: I agree completely.
To RM: I added “Woman of Worth” as possibility. However, I’m not sure I really like that since EVERYONE is a person of worth. Can you come up with a better meaning for WOW?
To caseym: Don’t forget that, despite being part of the politics-as-usual-Chicago-political-machine, Obama has managed to convince millions of people that he is an “agent of change.”

On Friday evenings, as the Jew sets out on his beloved Shabbath, we sing a song, the words from Proverbs V.
“Eh-shet Hayil, mi Imsah”, “A Woman of Worth, who can find..?”
No political correctness from King Solomon there, who implies that there are NO women of worth–UNTIL AND UNLESS they ACT as women of worth, and he then sets out those actions; for as a man who really knew what women were about- c.f. Sheba- Solomon knew that we are NOT born with worth, we achieve it.
And Sarah Palin has earned her status as a “woman of worth” in the actual and the proverbial sense.
So yes! Sarah Palin-WOW!

I like it too. And I like Kat’s idea too.
