If you’re going to give a gift card for a Christmas gift, here’s a new option for you. You can now make gift cards more personal and more versatile by giving a photo gift card from GiftCardLab. You just upload your own photos and the personalize it further with the gift recipent’s name and a message. The gift cards are Visa cards, and that means they’re accepted anywhere VISA is accepted - which is almost everywhere. What a cool idea!

From my limited experience, gift cards are a major gift to the Business where they are bought not to the person receiving the “gift” card…unless it happens to be a place where one shops regularily. The person with the gift card has to purchase exactly the value or more than the value of the card or lose the difference.
TMS: I’ve had gift cards that I’ve never redeemed - when they’re for a spcific store where I don’t shop. However, I’ve gotten the difference back when I’ve used one. A VISA card is a pretty good deal since it’s more personalized than giving money - and it can be used most anywhere.
