Reading Newsletters

Update: January 2008

Each month I create a reading newsletter that I send home with each child at my K-5 elementary school.   If you would like to receive a copy of the newsletter for your own use, please send an email to mc849(at)aol(dot)com.  Before sending that email, however, please read and follow the guidelines below about subscribing to my reading newsletters.  Here is a sample newsletter to give you an idea of what the newsletter is like.

Newsletter information and guidelines:

(1) You will receive the newsletter as an attachment to an email.

(2) The newsletter will be in Microsoft Publisher (.pub) format.  At this time I don’t have the software necessary to make it in other formats.

(3) You are authorized to personalize the newsletter by adding your own identifying information on the newsletter (school name, your contact information, activities for your specific school, etc.), and you can make copies for the children in your class or your school.

(4) You must agree to keep the copyright information on the newsletter which identifies me as the writer/originator/developer of the core content and layout of the newsletter.

(5) There will be 11 issues each school year: back-to-school, September, October, November, December, January, February, March, April, May, Summer.

(6) I create the newsletter each month for my own school - personalized for my school and me.  Then I take the time to make it generic so that others can use it.  The time spent making it generic is minimal - resulting in an inexpensive subscription rate.

(7) The subscription rate is $22.00 per year.

(8) You agree that you will use the newsletter ONLY for your own class or school.  You will not share the newsletter with other schools.  If someone from another school wants to use the newsletter, you will refer them to this website or give them my email for them to arrange their own subscription.

(9) Payments are made ONLY via PayPal to my email  - mc849(at)aol(dot)com.
