I got this from Darleen over at Darleen’s Place. It’s sad that photos such as this are not shown in every USA newspaper. I am so proud of our troops and all the good they’re doing in the world.Â

This picture should have been on every front page newspaper in the country…. maybe then… people would understand why we are there. Awesome photo.

If this was 1944 the picture WOULD have been on the front of every newspaper in the country, described on the radio, made the cover of LIFE magazine, and would now be as famous as the photo of the Navy man kissing the nurse at the end of the war.
Thanks…..I’m planning to link back to you and Darlene’s Place when I place this on my site.

The very heart of your writing while appearing reasonable in the beginning, did not work properly with me personally after some time. Somewhere throughout the sentences you actually managed to make me a believer but just for a very short while. I still have a problem with your jumps in assumptions and one would do well to help fill in all those breaks. In the event you can accomplish that, I could surely be amazed.
