Thursday Thirteen – 36th Edition – Thanksgiving

What I’m Thankful For Today

1. My husband’s love
2. My daughter – she’ll most likely call me this afternoon (they’re visiting with her inlaws this Thanksgiving)
3. A visit with my son and daughter-in-law at my mother’s house – I’m thrilled that they’re making the 3+ hour car ride to be there with my extended family.
4. My husband’s plane (makes the trip to Georgia only 45 minutes rather than 3+ hours). We’ll take off around 9:00, and be at my mother’s by 10:00. Then tomorrow, the trip from my mother’s to RT’s mother’s house will be less than an hour. And the trip home on Saturday will be quick, too.
5. My mother who will have the most tender turkey and delicious cornbread dressing imaginable 6. My two grandgirls – although I won’t see them today, I’ll see them tomorrow, and I’m excited about that!
7. My brothers and sisters – I’ll see all but my oldest sister and youngest brother today.
8. My good health
9. RT’s and my Log cabin
10. My inlaws – I love them. I’ve known them since 1968, and they’ve loved me through all the ups and downs since then.
11. Good weather for traveling this weekend.
12. Five days off work.
13. Good friends, living in America, a good church, a good pastor, and life itself.
