The Median Sib

Several days ago, I felt a bump on my left hip.  I got a mirror to get a better look.  Definitely looked like a tick - with red, swollen skin all around.  I got tweezers and pulled.  It came off easily, but I couldn’t find it afterwards.  Meanwhile, three days later, the spot is still red and swollen and occasionally itchy.  My sister, Debi, told me I should go to an urgent care place tomorrow and have them look at it.  She had a tick bite once, and the doctor put her on ten days of antibiotics.

Anyone else with experience with ticks?  Is this something I should have a doctor check?
