I’ve got my TO DO list for today:
(1) workout at Curves
(2) pack up at least two rooms of my townhouse
(3) ride bikes this evening with PawPaw on The Natchez Trace
(4) arrange for movers for next Thursday
(5) make at least four phone calls to discontinue/disconnect/transfer service - water, electricity, gas, DirecTV
(6) get the “termite letter” from the exterminator when he checks the house this afternoon - a requirement before closing
(7) be here when the buyer has the home inspection done this afternoon.
(8) stick to my diet
So far, I’ve completed #1 and I’m doing well on #8. As soon as I post this, I’m starting on #2 and will PERSEVERE until I’ve got the two rooms completed. I’ll make the phone calls when I take a lunch break in a couple hours.

I need to make a list too, Carol. My driver’s license expired last month and my A/C died sometime yesterday. There’s the lawn to be mowed–if the damn rain ever lets up for long enough–and shrubs to be pruned. Life keeps coming at us!
I hope your move goes smoothly, Carol. It can be a painfree process, or so I’ve been told. I wait until the last minute for everything and that always makes it painful!
You go, girl!
I’ve been making lists each day this summer, too. We’ve neglected our house for at least 2 years while we’ve been dealing with Ricky’s parents’ illnesses. This is our summer to make up for lost time and get our house in good shape again. It’s amazing how much there is to do!
Good luck with the to do list
