My Nephew, Andrew

Our family just got word today that my nephew, Andrew, who works for a youth ministry in Los Angeles, had a stroke this morning and is in the hospital. He was bleeding from his brain stem, and they were transferring him to another hospital for surgery. It sounds very discouraging.
My sister and her husband are on their way to L.A. - probably arriving about now (10:30 p.m. Central Daylight Time). We hope to hear more soon.
If you happen to read this blog tonight, please say a prayer for Andrew. He’s just 26 years old - one of my son’s playmates when they were little.

They are all in our prayers. We actually heard about Andrew from our friends, David and Carol Cosby, whose daughter is a friend of Benjamin’s. Keep us posted.
