Deer Frolicking
Monday, March 27th, 2006 at 11:41 am by carol
I was at PawPaw’s this morning, and he called for me to look out the dining room window. In the field behind his house there were NINE deer. When PawPaw called for me they stopped and looked at the house. Apparently they could hear and see us through the glass. However, after a few minutes they decided we were safe, and they went back to playing. They’d run around and chase each other - jumping and nudging each other. Then they’d stop and nibble at the grass for a moment or two. Then they’d start frolicking again. It was so much fun to watch.

We have deer in the pasture behind our house. We have not seen them yet this year but I cannot wait. They are so beautiful to watch.
BTW, I got my ‘Blog Hog’ bag and I love it. Thanks so much.

Yes, the deer are coming to the back yard once again. We have been feeding them “groundfall” apples all winter and they are looking pretty healthy around here.
Here in Nova scotia our winter has been quite mild for them this year.
